At Superfast IT, we’ve been providing business grade IT Support for over 15 years. We receive hundreds if not thousands of questions from both potential and existing clients and off the back of this we’ve created a list of some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Superfast IT.
What types of clients do you work with?
We primarily work with owner-managed businesses with between 10 and 100 users. We support one or two smaller teams and a few larger organisations, and we provide free and/or discounted services to a number of charities.
How big is your team?
Our technical team is eight strong, and they’re backed by two admin staff.
What are your response times?
We have a system for prioritising support requests. Highest priority incidents will receive an immediate response, and an engineer will begin working on the client’s problem right away. All support requests route through our Service Desk where calls are answered directly by engineers who can quick remotely access your computer and begin work to resolve your issue.
What area do you cover?
Most of our clients are based within the West Midlands area, but we have clients with nationwide locations as far north as Oban, in Scotland, and as far south as Newquay. We have good relationships with several of other IT companies across the UK, through our participation in HTG, and work with these to provide trusted assistance in other areas. Because HTG is an international organisation, we were previously able to utilise our network to find a partner to cover a new client site in the United States.
How much do you charge for support?
It depends on the particular complexities of supporting each client, but as a rough guide, there typically requires an investment of around £30 per user per month.
How long have you been in business?
The company was formed by James Cash in February 2002, and we’re still working with our first client!
What qualifications do you have?
Our engineers hold a range of qualifications, having passed exams from Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, and CompTIA. Keeping skills up-to-date is very important to us, so we hold weekly companywide training sessions.
The company received the CompTIA Accredit UK Trustmark+ for delivering industry accepted best practices of quality IT service, and we hold several vendor certifications. Here are some of our accreditations.
What contract lengths do you offer?
We’re able to provide flexible contract terms depending on the needs of the client. These range from simple monthly rolling agreements, to anything up to three-year fixed-term contracts.
